Forensic Psychological Assessments (English and Spanish)
Services include the ability to conduct evaluations and prepare reports which can be used by judges, probation officers, lawyers and families. An example is a report conducted for a lifer at a California state prison for their parole board hearing. Another is a report for a minor who was detained at a county juvenile Hall. Reports address the following:
Referral Questions
- Assessing for mental health concerns.
- Determining risk factors.
- Assessing recidivism.
- Assessing type of needed treatment interventions.
Included in the report are the following:
- Face-to-face interview.
- Mental status exam.
- Collaboration with family to obtain relevant history.
- Probation report review (if relevant).
- Administer appropriate battery of intelligence and psychological measures.
- Summary of test results addressing referral questions and recommendations.
