Forensic Psychological Assessments (English and Spanish)

Services include the ability to conduct evaluations and prepare reports which can be used by judges, probation officers, lawyers and families. An example is a report conducted for a lifer at a California state prison for their parole board hearing. Another is a report for a minor who was detained at a county juvenile Hall. Reports address the following:

  • Referral Questions

    • Assessing for mental health concerns.
    • Determining risk factors.
    • Assessing recidivism.
    • Assessing type of needed treatment interventions.
  • Included in the report are the following:

    • Face-to-face interview.
    • Mental status exam.
    • Collaboration with family to obtain relevant history.
    • Probation report review (if relevant).
    • Administer appropriate battery of intelligence and psychological measures.
    • Summary of test results addressing referral questions and recommendations.
